Bikash Mohanta is an Indian artist from Odisha, who predominantly works with acrylics. Participated in various exhibitions across India and won numerous awards in his forte. Nature always seems me beautiful and enigmatic vast blue sky and starts in the natural dark, the setting sun and moon beam in the full moon night all seems me enigmatic and I get tempted to capture all these thing in my in most recess of mind which play a major role in making me an artist. A romantic feeling of an artist is expressed through painting , poetry etc, My painting is not always the reflection or translation of my mind and can not store all these feelings beyond our imagination painting goes in its own direction and leads to an unknown domain of artistic pleasure. Being inspired by the beauty of nature . I basically emphasize on the small and delicate creature of the nature and on their allegorical depiction. Though these represent symbolically the human nature and behavior towards nature and living being. In my several painting cats and aquarium fishes are represented as the symbol of human relationship and degradation of human and social value in the present day society. And in other way fishes are symbolized as the tender feelings and aesthetic sense.
