Ramesh Anand has spent many years in the region of Malwa known for its colorful surroundings and festive hues, and uses red, yellows, greens etc. in a judicious manner, to empower the images according to their intent – at times giving them a subdued look, and at times gleaming them gloriously. He likes to spread the hues, and make enclosures out of these; to create spaces, which are truly enchanting. In a controlled manner, he uses his imaginative faculties to distill the very essence of landscapic forms.
