We can’t imagine the world without trees. But unfortunately we are moving in that direction…the desert. The artist, being a trekker has experienced whatever is left of those virgin jungles in the Sahyadri range and some rare patches around our villages. That experience has left a long lasting effect on his mind and from that, these paintings have taken shapes and colours. These paintings take the viewer through that magical world of greenery. As the artist says, “These are not just landscapes, it’s an heartfelt effort to understand the feelings of trees.” Around 30-35 ‘Trees capes’ in oil colours on canvas are rendered in a realistic, traditional way which is most suitable to express the feelings.
