I am a passionate and expressive artist specializing in watercolor medium. Having graduated in B.F.A. Applied Art, I am painting for more than 20 years now and I feel that this watercolor medium provides me the utmost freedom and liberty to express my thoughts and feelings in the language of colors. I love to paint various subjects; however, painting landscapes have a special place in my heart. More specifically, I also love to do plein air painting and believe that painting amidst nature adds a special ingredient of truthfulness and oneness to my works. My paintings are fresh and spontaneous and the viewer is immediately drawn into my compositions. Landscape compositions are known for their fineness in capturing the mood of the place and the richness in the play of light and shade. I have been exhibiting my works in various galleries in and around Mumbai. My paintings have also been shortlisted and awarded by juries and panelists of various Art Societies in various competitions.
