Artist Deepak Gurunath Patil is born in Solapur (India). He spent his entire childhood in Solapur andat present is serving as the Principal of Appasaheb Kadadi Chitrakala Mahavidyalaya (Fine Art College) in Solapur. Throughout his career he had many solo exhibitions and participated in group shows. He has won many awards in nationwide professional art exhibitions and competitions.
