Abhishek Namdeo, born in 1991 in Tikamgarh, Madhya Pradesh, is an Indian painter known for his surrealistic works in watercolor, oil, and acrylic. He completed his Engineering degree from RGTU Bhopal in 2013. Namdeo's paintings, renowned for their realistic portraits and landscapes, have earned him several accolades, including awards from the Governor of M.P. in 2007 and the Cultural Minister in 2009, as well as multiple state and national honors. Namdeo held a solo exhibition in February 2017 at Swaraj Vithika, Bhopal, showcasing over 50 paintings and receiving coverage in more than 10 newspapers. He has participated in numerous group exhibitions, such as "Gajanan" at DB Mall Bhopal, a Mother's Day event featuring his acclaimed painting "Maternal Love," and the Mumbai Art Fair in October 2019 at Nehru Centre, Mumbai. In November 2020, he exhibited hand-painted portraits at DLF Emporio Mall, Delhi, and in December 2021, he participated in the international art exhibition "Memories" at Sanskruti Bhawan, Panjim, Goa, where he received the Amrita Sher-Gil Award. In May 2022, Namdeo took part in "Adaptations" by Jumbish Creations, an NFT-themed exhibition at Monalisa Kalagram, Pune. His work was also featured in the Jaipur Art Summit in December 2022 at Jiwaji University, Gwalior, alongside many international artists. Abhishek Namdeo continues to live and work in Tikamgarh, Madhya Pradesh, contributing significantly to the Indian art scene.
