Geetha Pasupuleti is a self-trained artist. She was born in the temple town Srikalahasti, Chittoor district, Andhra Pradesh. Geetha has been drawing since early childhood and started painting at the age of eighteen. Her creativity is based on her personal worldview. Her work is enriched with a semblance of traditional sculptural characteristics and vivid colorful visual forms. Her favorite subjects are animals and nature. This artist is constantly looking for an image that freezes the moment of jubilant, emotional, and exuberant posture so that the observer becomes aware of that particular moment. She usually works with acrylics on canvas, sometimes with pen and ink on paper. Geetha lives and works in Hyderabad, India.
