Ranjana Ramchandra graduated from Sir JJ School of Art, Mumbai in 1979. She has held solo exhibitions in Bangalore and Mumbai and at The Art Forum in Singapore.She worked with the French artist Christian Puard on the ancient technique of tempera paintings. She works in oil and tempera mediums and her works are collected by Indian and International collectors. Along with her husband, S.P.Ramchander , Ranjana , founded the Hemophilia Society, Bangalore in 1992. Ranjana successfully Advocated with the Government of Karnataka to include Hemophilia in the, “Prevention of Disability Act” and hence provide free anti hemophilic factorthrough designated Government hospitals in the state since 2005.
